Volunteer With Us

Volunteers are the lifeline of a nonprofit like ours.
We depend on countless people from the community everyday who give their time to help us cook and package hundreds of meals and snacks, pick up donations, distribute supplies, and more.

Kitchen Prep and Food Rescue

Volunteers in our headquarters kitchen help produce up to 1,000 hot meals each day. Working alongside our professional chefs and packaging manager, kitchen prep volunteers assist with a variety of tasks—from chopping, peeling, and food prep to packaging meals, making snack bags or sandwiches, receiving donations, and organizing the walk-in. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys being hands-on in the kitchen and helping keep our meal production running smoothly. No experience required.

HOURS:
Monday through Friday, 9 am to 12 pm OR 1 pm to 3:30 pm.

You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
